The company has installed a solar panel roof, generating around 200 kW of energy, which is a major step towards energy self-sufficiency and reduced CO2 emissions.
Thanks to this solar roofing, Abagrigliati can now cover around 70% of its energy needs, reflecting a strong commitment to reducing environmental impact. However, our efforts do not stop there: we have also implemented sustainable mobility solutions, another key aspect that underlines a real commitment to low environmental impact management.
New fleet underpinning sustainability
A fleet of electric forklifts was introduced to the company, making a crucial change to Abagrigliati’s daily operations. These zero-emission trucks not only reduce the impact on the environment, but also contribute to a cleaner and healthier workplace for employees.
The company has formed a valuable partnership with Veyal, aiming for maximum efficiency and power through highly sustainable solutions. The LI-IRON POWERED® forklift trucks represent a further step towards excellence in production and storage for Abagrigliati. An innovative feature of these new vehicles is the new BYD lithium iron phosphate battery, a zero-emission power system that guarantees not only high performance but also extremely short charging times. This was a key feature that led Abagrigliati to choose them, showing a tangible commitment to a sustainable future of efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Abagrigliati’s path towards sustainability is one of constant evolution, where every action is aimed at improving not only the company but also the end product, achieving maximum results whilst paying the utmost attention to the impact on the environment.
